For companies
A Czech desk, without building a Czech team.
For companies with real activity here and nobody local to own it: a named contact who makes the calls, attends the appointments and closes the loop.
Who this is for
- 01Foreign SMEs with Czech customers, suppliers or a small subsidiary
- 02Companies whose Czech entity exists but has no staff yet
- 03Market-entry teams that need continuity after the project phase ends
- 04Groups where one manager is covering Czechia from another country, part-time
What Valtier handles
- A named contact who knows your account, not a shared queue
- Czech-language communication with suppliers, customers and authorities
- Follow-up on open items — the quote that never arrived, the invoice in dispute
- Appointment attendance and interpreting
- Administrative coordination: filings collected, correspondence handled, deadlines flagged
- Support for employees you have in Czechia, inside the same desk
- A monthly written report: what moved, what is blocked, what needs a decision
What you will need to do
- Name one person on your side who can decide, so the desk is not blocked waiting
- Agree the scope of what the desk may commit to on your behalf
- Share the context that makes local conversations credible
- Read the monthly report and act on the decisions it flags
How it runs
- 01
Scoping
What actually needs covering each month, who decides what, and the authority the desk is given.
- 02
Handover
Contacts, history and open items transferred, so the first week is work rather than orientation.
- 03
Running
Day-to-day local communication, follow-up and administration, in Czech, on your behalf.
- 04
Reporting
A monthly written report and a review of whether the scope still matches the volume.
What is not included
- Statutory director duties, signing authority or acting as your legal representative
- Bookkeeping, payroll and tax filing — coordinated, but performed by licensed specialists
- Sales targets or commercial performance commitments
- Unlimited volume: the retainer is scoped, and we tell you when it no longer fits
Fees
Some services carry a fixed price. Others start from a base and depend on scope. Project work is quoted per project. You receive scope and fee in writing before any work begins.

How is this different from hiring a part-time employee?
An employee needs an entity, payroll, management and a reason to stay when the workload is uneven. A desk gives you the same local presence without the fixed structure, and it scales down as easily as it scales up. Once your volume is genuinely full-time, hiring is usually the better answer — and we will say so.
Can the desk sign or commit on our behalf?
Only within limits you set explicitly, in writing, at the start. By default the desk communicates and coordinates but does not commit you to anything — and it will tell a counterparty that plainly rather than improvising authority it does not have.
