Cookie Policy

You are reading a placeholder published before launch. A final version, reviewed by a qualified professional, replaces it before the site is used commercially.
Our approach
This website is built to work without tracking you. Its one advertising tool is the Google Ads tag, and it loads only if you allow the advertising category. No third-party social media trackers are embedded, and personal data is never sold to advertising networks.
Nothing optional is stored on your device, or read from it, before you agree. Until you choose, every optional category stays off. Closing the banner does not count as agreement, and neither does continuing to browse.
How we ask
On your first visit a dialog lets you accept or refuse everything with one click, or decide category by category. Both one-click answers are shown with equal weight, because a refusal that takes more effort than agreeing is not a free choice.
Your decision is stored on your device with the date and the version of this policy, so it is clear what you agreed to and when. We ask again after twelve months, or sooner if what the categories cover changes.
Strictly necessary
This covers remembering the choice you made in that dialog and your language preference. It also protects the enquiry form from automated abuse. It cannot be switched off, because it is what makes your other choices work, including a decision to refuse everything else.
After you send an enquiry, a cookie lets the confirmation page open. It lasts 30 minutes and holds nothing you typed into the form.
Under the ePrivacy rules this category does not need consent, and it is never used to profile you.
Analytics (off unless you opt in)
Aggregate measurement of how the site is used, meaning which pages are viewed and how far visitors get through the enquiry form. It helps find the pages that are unclear. No analytics provider is enabled in this version of the policy. If one is added, this section will name it before it is switched on, and it will sit behind the same opt-in.
Analytics never records your name or email address, and it never records anything you type into a form.
Advertising and campaign attribution (off unless you opt in)
If you allow this category, the Google Ads tag (gtag.js) provided by Google Ireland Limited loads. Google uses it to measure whether an ad led to a visit or an enquiry, and to show Valtier ads to past visitors. It sets cookies such as _gcl_au on this site's domain for up to 90 days, and Google may also use its own cookies on its domains. Until you allow the category, every Google consent signal on the page is set to denied and the tag is not loaded.
If you arrive through a campaign link, the campaign parameters in it can be remembered for the rest of your visit and attached to an enquiry you send. That shows which campaigns lead to real conversations. The data sits in your browser's session storage and disappears when you close the tab.
If you refuse this category, the Google Ads tag does not load. An enquiry you send also carries no attribution data at all.
If you change your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing was, and it takes effect straight away. Optional storage is deleted and optional scripts stop loading.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of both optional categories without asking, and record it that way. You can still opt in from the footer if you want to.
You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may change how parts of the site behave, and we may then be unable to remember that you refused.
