Czech suppliers who answer the phone, on one shortlist.
A database search gives you Czech company names. It does not tell you who can supply a foreign buyer. I start with a longlist from the public register, the official record of Czech companies. Then I call each candidate in Czech and find out.

Who this is for
- You buy components or materials and want a Czech source or contract manufacturer.
- An existing supplier has become a risk, and a replacement is needed.
- Your products need a Czech distributor or service partner.
- Your purchasing team has to explain its shortlist to management.
How it runs
Step by step, in the order it happens.
- 01
Brief
You send the specification, volumes and the certifications you need. I also note anything that rules a candidate out, whatever the price.
- 02
Longlist
Candidates come from the public register, trade sources and direct enquiries. Each one gets a short note on what is known.
- 03
Filtering
Companies that fail your criteria are dropped. I call the rest in Czech to confirm their interest before you spend time on them.
- 04
Shortlist
You receive the shortlist with reasons. The dropped companies stay on record beside it.
- 05
Visits
Meetings or site visits with the shortlisted suppliers are arranged. I come along when it helps.
What I handle
These lines become your written scope, confirmed before any work starts.
- A map of the category showing each company's size and its place in the supply chain.
- A longlist, meaning a wide first list of candidates, drawn from the public register and trade sources.
- Filtering against your criteria, such as capacity, certification, financial standing or export experience.
- Calls and emails in Czech to a named person at each company.
- A first conversation with every candidate about what they make and whether they will quote.
- Site visits arranged. I come along and speak Czech when that helps.
- The shortlist, with the reason each company is on it. The dropped companies are listed too, with the reason they went.
What I do not do myself
- Quality inspections, factory audits and certification testing.
- Contract drafting and legal review. A partner lawyer handles that.
- Tax and accounting questions, which go to a tax adviser or accountant.
- Price negotiation on your behalf. I do not act as your purchasing agent.
- A guarantee of a supplier's capacity, lead times or quoted price.
- Commission from suppliers. Only you pay Valtier.
What you prepare
Some steps only you can take. Better to know them before you decide.
- Send the specification or scope a supplier needs before it can quote.
- Tell me which criteria rule a candidate out.
- Reply to shortlisted suppliers before they lose interest.
- Negotiate prices and sign contracts yourselves, with your own advisers.
Questions about this service
Do you take commission from the suppliers you introduce?
No. Only the client pays. If suppliers paid for the search, the list would show whoever paid, and you couldn't choose a supplier from that.
How many candidates does the shortlist include?
It depends on the category. A narrow technical specification may have only a few credible suppliers in Czechia, while a common component usually has many more. You and I agree the size of the longlist and shortlist before work starts.
Do you check product quality at the factory?
No. I don't run quality inspections or audits. If you need one, book an inspection firm or send your own quality engineer, and I'll arrange the visit.
Prices
Know the price before you commit. Government and consular fees are not included, and you pay them at the counter.
