Who we are
This website is run under the name Valtier Partners ("Valtier", "we") by Hanyoung Cho, sole trader (OSVČ), IČO 19640366, Tůmova 1336/4, Košíře, 150 00 Praha 5, Czech Republic, registered in the Trade Licensing Register (živnostenský rejstřík). Hanyoung Cho is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Questions about this policy or about your data can be sent to info@valtierpartners.cz.
What we collect
When you send the Start Your Case form, we collect what you enter. That is your name and email address, an optional phone number, your nationality and current country, and your preferred language. It also covers the service you are asking about, your situation and timing, an optional budget range and your description of the matter. For company enquiries we also collect the company name and country, with an optional website and company size.
When you visit, your browser also sends standard technical information such as your IP address and user agent. We process it for security and to prevent abuse.
What we do not collect here
This public website does not accept identity documents or criminal record extracts, or any other sensitive documents. For active cases, documents are handled in the Valtier Portal, a separate system with its own access controls.
Why we process it
To answer your enquiry and suggest a suitable next step.
To prepare a proposed scope of work, if the enquiry leads there.
To protect the website from spam and abuse.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not lead to an engagement is kept only as long as needed to handle it and any reasonable follow-up. After that it is deleted.
If an engagement begins, the relevant information moves into our client system. It is then kept for the retention periods that apply to that relationship.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. If a matter needs a regulated professional, for example a lawyer or a tax adviser, we share only what that professional needs in order to help, and only with your knowledge. The same applies when an accountant is involved.
We use service providers for hosting and for sending email. They process the data on our instructions.
If you allow advertising cookies, the Google Ads tag sends data about your visit to Google Ireland Limited. This includes the pages you view, your IP address, details of your browser and the cookie identifiers listed in the Cookie Policy. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the footer. Google may also process this data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask for access to your personal data, for correction or deletion, for restricted processing or for portability. You can also object to processing, and you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
