Between the decision in Seoul and execution in Czechia.
Reports get read. Emails go unanswered. The gap between them is where Czech entries stall — and it is the only thing this desk does.
Who this is for
- 01Korean manufacturers evaluating Czechia for supply, assembly or distribution
- 02Companies following a customer or a group affiliate into Central Europe
- 03Teams that received a market report and now need someone to act on it
- 04Companies with a Czech entity already registered but no local staff
What Valtier handles
- Market mapping and local validation of the segment you are targeting
- Candidate qualification against criteria agreed with your team in Korean
- Czech-language outreach to named decision-makers, by phone as well as email
- Meeting coordination, on-site attendance and Korean–Czech interpreting
- Structured follow-up after every meeting, reported back in Korean
- Entity setup coordination when the decision is made to establish locally
- Residence and Employee Card support for dispatched staff and their families
- An ongoing local desk once the project phase ends
What you will need to do
- Name a decision-maker who can respond within the market's timeframe
- Provide product, pricing and reference material usable in front of a Czech buyer
- Agree the criteria that genuinely disqualify a candidate
- Decide how much authority the desk carries in local conversations
How it runs
- 01
Market mapping
Segment, channels, competitors and price positioning — assessed locally, against what you actually sell.
- 02
Local validation
What the segment looks like from inside Czechia, including the constraints a desk study will not surface.
- 03
Qualification and outreach
A longlist narrowed against agreed criteria, then contacted in Czech until there is an answer either way.
- 04
Meetings and follow-up
Agendas prepared, meetings attended and interpreted, and every open point pursued afterwards.
- 05
Local execution
Entity setup, dispatched-staff residence and an ongoing desk, once there is something to operate.
What is not included
- Any commitment about contracts signed, volumes achieved or investment approved
- Legal, tax or accounting advice — coordinated with licensed Czech specialists
- Acting as a commercial agent or taking commission on your sales
- Government incentives, which are decided by the relevant Czech authorities
Fees
Some services carry a fixed price. Others start from a base and depend on scope. Project work is quoted per project. You receive scope and fee in writing before any work begins.
Questions about this service
01Is this a translation service?
No. Interpreting is part of the work, but the work is execution: qualifying candidates, making the calls, attending the meetings and following up afterwards. A translator repeats what was said; a desk is responsible for what happens next.
02We already have a Czech entity. Is this still relevant?
Often more so. A registered entity with no local staff still needs someone to answer the phone in Czech, attend the appointment and chase the supplier. That is the Czech Operations Desk, and it runs on the same account.
03Do you work with Korean staff being dispatched to Czechia?
Yes. Employee Card applications, residence, relocation and family support run inside the same account as the commercial work, so HR in Korea has one contact rather than three vendors.
