What we collect

When you submit the Start Your Case form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, optional phone number, nationality, current country, preferred language, the service you are asking about, your situation, timing, optional budget range and your description of the matter. For company enquiries we also collect the company name, country, optional website and optional company size.

We also process standard technical information generated by your browser when you visit the site, such as your IP address and user agent, for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not collect here

This public website does not accept identity documents, criminal record extracts, or other sensitive documentation. Document handling for active cases takes place in the Valtier Portal, a separate system with its own access controls.

Why we process it

To respond to your enquiry and advise on an appropriate next step.

To prepare a proposed scope of work if that is what your enquiry leads to.

To protect the website against spam and abuse.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained only as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, and are then deleted.

Where an engagement begins, the relevant information is transferred into our client system and retained in line with the retention periods applicable to that relationship.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Where a matter requires a regulated professional — for example a lawyer, tax adviser or accountant — we share only what is necessary for that specialist to assist, and only with your knowledge.

We use service providers for hosting and email delivery. These providers process data on our instructions.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
